Champagne Region Day Trip from Paris

Enjoy a glass of bubbly as you spend a day in the famous region of Champagne on a day trip from Paris. With its magnificent vineyards, impressive heritage and world class champagnes, the region makes a great excursion from the French capital. Explore the Moet and Chandon cellars in Epernay. Also visit the Mumm Champagne House and Reims Cathedral.

The sacred town of Reims is the capital of the Champagne region and known throughout the world for its sparkling wine, champagne. Reims is also the city of coronations where most of the French Kings were crowned.

In the morning, your orientation tour of Reims includes a guided visit of the Gothic cathedral. Then onto the Mumm cellars for a commented visit and a tasting of the famous Cordon rouge Champagne wine before stopping for lunch (own expense).

In the afternoon, enjoy the picturesque landscape of vines between Reims and Epernay. At Epernay you will visit the prestigious wine cellars of Moet & Chandon with the opportunity to taste their reputed wine.

The cellars visit is a walking tour. The cellars can be cold so please dress warmly.
